USCCB - (NAB) - February 23, 2006:
"Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,
it would be better for him if a great millstone
were put around his neck
and he were thrown into the sea."
I think one of my greatest responsiblities in my calling to homeschool is to keep my children away from sin. I know that I can't protect them in bubble wrap and have them be safe for ever...it's not about that. It's about educating their consciences and allowing their own love for God grow. For me that precedes anything I can teach them about Language Arts or Math.
Last night before bedtime, Sarah said a Hail Mary...she did a mama's heart proud!
Now about sin...hmmm...how to help them curb some of their ocasional bad behavior? I suppose love, patience and good example go a long way...
